**"For over 2,000 years, stinging nettle (Urtica dioica) has been known for its healing properties. A recent study looked at how an extract made from nettle leaves (AEUD) might help fight bacteria, reduce damage from harmful molecules (antioxidant effects), and slow the growth of cancer cells.
Tests showed that the nettle extract is rich in beneficial plant compounds and works better against certain bacteria, especially Gram-positive ones. It also has strong antioxidant properties, which help protect cells from damage.
When tested on colon cancer cells, the extract slowed their growth, stopped them from spreading, and interfered with their life cycle. These results suggest that nettle leaf extract has the potential to be a natural remedy for fighting infections, protecting cells, and even slowing down cancer cell growth."**
